that's weird....they did work on the tweaked and loaded rom (v2.7.35)....i thought they were the same icons. the icons are cooked into the rom...can they be overwritten? sorry...my ignorance of what can be and can not be done with a custom rom is infinite.

thanks...changed the opera setting and soft reset....cleartemp was already installed on this rom....but nothing changed...memory wise...hmm...double checked the opera setting it is good.

saw a post a couple pages back about clean ram.....installed that and ran it...now i have a 121.05 mb free in program memory but storage memory is 16.59 mb....thoughts?

the available memory on this rom is low already, I think at first boot it's around 36mb. depending on how many programs are installed, and if you installed them to device or internal storage may be the reason. also, possibly the opera cache up to the changeover to internal storage might still be in the windows directory>opera9 folder.

also cleanram frees up program memory only, clear temps frees up storage memory.

Actually, try this, go to file explorer>Windows>Opera9>cache and delete anything in there. this will ensure that all of the opera cache is out of device memory. this might help. also, make sure you install as many programs as you can to internal storage which will free up memory.

i think you are right...about memory after first boot...however the only applications i have installed are WP Activate (that lets me use weather panel from within mobile shell), cleanRAM. & .Net CF 3.5 which auto installs. I checked my RSS feeds. They download to my internal storage. Messaging attachements to internal storage. My push email is only set up to keep last 3 days of email.
