Ya I got it to work on mine, install Alltel Arcsoft 5.0.69.44 then go into server settings and set it to Alltel wireless.
I think you can also set it to the internet.
Make sure before any of this you install dcd carrier cab

You can try to remove it manualy its located under windows and requires some work.

Yeah i pretty much figured that was the case, I have used one of grooves bare 6.1 roms and just installed the spb stuff. Its ok for now but i would liked to have the voice notifications, maybe when i get some time ill try some cooking myself. DC thanks for the reply, RSTG thanks a bunch for your help as well, hopefully you can recook this rom without the sprint gaurdian crap so other non sprint users can enjoy the fullness of this great rom.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread very well (and shame on me for that because this is a really awesome rom concept) so I apologize if this is redundant information...

Here is an update folks! I didn't leave ya, I didn't die, I was just playing with my new 8-pound phone! (Feels like it compared to the diamond lol... )

- Added 21 misc. new lifestyle backgrounds...done.
- Moved backgrounds to ..\Backgrounds...done.
- Turned off Weather auto-updating in MobileShell...done.
- Fixed missing icons in Launcher/System menu...done.
- Renamed HTC_CM_Guardian.exe to HTC_CM_Guardian._exe ...done.

And everyone vote for backgrounds that have to go! (32mb after flash, I have 250+ on my other one... )

Personally I was getting really annoyed at some of them other threads that stayed up top with no real content that forced users to start new threads so their issues could be heard...

It's heavy, has a flash, has an microsd slot, bookoo memory on board, and a reset button on the outside! It's a wonderfull phone so far, except for that keyboard...useless.

Would it be acceptable if I were to make file so it you could delete it? What other changes would need to be made? This will still be geared towards sprint though, I just want to make it easier for those with different carriers like yourself...
