RSTG Roms - Spb MobileShell v3.0 v3.MS3.09.1 + Kitchen 5/11/09

I am new to Diamond Phone and have a question. I have a sprint phone with ACS carrier, I am not hooked up with data plan and do not plan on getting data. If I flash this rom will it affect my Phone for making calls. Again I will not be using phone for Data just phone calls.

If the stock sprint rom worked for you, then so shall this one...

How do I tell if it is a stock Rom I bought this off ebay as new but there was some prepaid minutes on it. The following is in the Device information screen:
Rom Version: 1.09.651.5
Rom Date: 08/04/08
Radio Version: 1.00.00F
Hardware Version: 0080
PRL version: 00063
PRI version: 1.44_003
Current username: 3475330747@vzw3g.com
MEID: ###########
MDN: ###########
MSID: ##########

Can you tell what this ROM is from this information.

The version appears to be, but I usually do only sprint specific roms. If I wanted a generic one I'd take a blank sys and drop a couple oems into and call it done. But that's too easy, my style is taking a carrier released rom and fixing those. So that way a person on that carrier can fully enjoy a rom and features they may be paying for...

The question you want to ask someone is will a sprint rom work with your carrier... Sorry I couldn't be more helpfull.

Sprint keeps overriding it because the make of this rom did not remove the security file htcguardian. Its a file that loads to prevent connection settings from being changed. I hate it when a cook makes a good rom and dont delete that file. Then the only support they give is crap like run a carrier cab which does nothing.

I have said it many times and I will say it again if your going to make a custom rom then remove that security file.

You can try to remove it manualy its located under windows and requires some work.

Has anyone gotten this ROM to work with Alltel MMS? I'm not having any luck at all. I've tried installing LennySh ArcSoft 5.0.71.33R3 Alltel and LennySh_Alltel_Arcsoft_3.0.26.12c and neither one will install. They both say installation unsuccessful.

If someone can help me figure this out I will buy them a beer via paypal (or irl if ur in montana).
