Are you going to add or change any of the icons in the taskbar? I like the Misfortune icons but not the stock white ones. I usually install Tsowen taskbar3 v1.4 because I like the blue against your background.

I like the default white ones with the Misfortune battery icon, so I am gonna keep it like that. I also like some of the replacement icons that don't show all of the time, like the bluetooth and wifi ones. So I am gonna keep those too. I don't like some of the other ones, like the roaming one, so I am gonna revert it back to white.

You guys are welcome to use other icons though, if you like.

Can we get Google maps in the next version and widen the vertical scrollbar to 16 pixles?

through advance config i always set my vertical scrollbar to 19 pixels. and change the horizontal icon spacing to 109 and vertical spacing to 111. i think it looks good and keeps icons at 4 across.

believe i suggested it before, but not sure.

No and maybe... GM you can install from cab... can you keep the 4 column icons with the 16 pixel scrollbar?

*edit* I'm not a big fan of the large scrollbars. They seem kind of aesthetically intrusive to me. Since this is something that can be easily changed with Advance Config, which is an app I include for this very reason, I am going to leave it alone by default. Thanks for the suggestions though guys.

You can change the vertical scrollbar size to 16 without doing any other changes and still keep 4 column icons.
HKLM/System/GWE-change cxVScr to 16 (default value is 13).
And on your Google Maps, I just thought I'd give it a shot.

I've been using the cab so far anyway.

I think I am going to include an app in the next version that changes the way scrolling works within 6.1 windows. It allows scrolling one screen at a time, kind of the way the 6.5 start menu works, and is customizable too (speed and distance of scroll). If I do, I will have it preconfigured and preloaded so that you don't have to mess with it unless you want to.

I'm testing it now, and I like it.

Hey Bonz. weird thing is my battery is actually worse. not sure if its because I tried to change the sip yesterday. took her off the battery this morning at 7, down to 67% in 2 hrs with very little usage. will hard reset and report back. Thanks.

edit, just flashed shipped rom and it said 90% battery left. so the battery meter had to be wrong, considering it was only charging for 5 minutes. so no battery concerns, just incorrect reading for some reason.

Hey DB, I flashed to 1.6 yesterday morning and it seemed to be working well, but this morning my alarm didnt sound and I noticed that even though it had been on the charger all night it had not charged at all. So I chalked that up to a fluke (cause these diamonds are buggy like that) but just now when I tried to use it touch flo would restart every time I moved the slider. I figured it was no biggie and I hit the soft reset app from your ROM and the phone hard reset itself. Not saying its all bc of 1.6 but wondering if anyone else is having issues since flashing to 1.6?
