Is this an OEM?

I did not enter any regedits on this rom. I did, however, remove Gaurdian.exe which means you can now enter those regedits and they will stick after a soft reset.

ok time to "complain" on this one. Rom is just like stock, freezes a lot! i mean A LOT! Radio may be the prob but reception has decreased dramatically and i miss calls. Cant get opera to be the default browser (so when i click on links, it goes to IE which SUCKS!) and lastly it is very slow at times after extended usage (and i use my phone alot!) any new updates?!?!?

I'm sorry this rom has not worked out for you. I really posted this rom for those who actually liked the stock rom but didn't want to deal with the bloatware. I have seen many testimonials on many roms for many phones. From that I have concluded, not all phones are created equal. Or possibly other apps are causing your woes. I had a lot of bugs with S2U2 a while back. As much as I liked it, I knew I had to ditch it. The stock Sprint rom (2.00.651.7) worked better on my phone than anything else I had tried before. All I did was remove some of the customizations that plagued it. BTW, what radio are you running? That might be the cause for your call troubles. Certain radios work better in certain areas. There is a sticky on this topic. Anyhow, I hope I can help you in some way or other.

actually i like your rom, i prefer the stock sprint over the custom ones but i think its a stock rom issue and not your rom thats the issue. i mean the problems i stated was the same as i had with the update.. *sigh* well i hope you bring another update through

I have none of these problems with this ROM.

I like it enough that I'm probably going to bake TV and NAV into it as OEM's and call it done. I've deleted all of the Album samples and made PhoneOff.wav = a copy of PhoneOn.wav and have TONs of storage memory free.

I plan to stay as close to stock as possible. My experience with my 6800 and Touch was that custom ROMs and Kitchens are just too unstable for my use as a reliable phone.

Re: 04-16-09 Almost Stock Sprint Rom Build 2

As much as I prefer stability, I do get bored with the stock rom. I've been playing around with 6.5 build 21215. 6.5 is definately coming along nicely but they still have to work out some phone canvas and call answer issues. I had a great amount of available ram with this build after removing the unwanted tabs from Titanium. Also Titanium weather still refuses work for me. I do see 6.5 getting closer though.

So if I want to use this ROM, should I run the unlocker first or just flash it as it is a stock rom? BTW, I'm with Sprint stock rom. Thanks.
