Re: [3-25-09] Custom WM6.5 Sprint rom with Rhodium Manila 1C

It's actually not that hard to do the bootloader or hardresets.
You don't need the stylus. I just started a thread on this because I've seen it come up a lot in different forums.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...248#post799248

Here's the basics.
Once you're phone is powered down, decide which mode you want to go into.
Make sure the "PowerButton" is the last button you push and hold, since that will turn your phone on.

Note: Push and hold all the corresponding buttons to activate selected mode

Bootloader = VolumeDown + PowerButton
Trigger Bootloader = VolumeDown + BackArrow + PowerButton
Hardreset = VolumeDown + OK + PowerButton

Re: [3-25-09] Custom WM6.5 Sprint rom with Rhodium Manila 1C

Nice rom, really fast for windows mobile 6.5 (from what I've seen with other builds).

EDIT: Works fine with TF3D, only problem is with Titanium. Since I don't use Titanium anyway this works fine for me.

Unfortunately:
When using the ROM, I am unable to access the start menu. When the close icon (upper left) is a small x, clicking the start button does nothing. Clicking the x will return the close icon to the htc drop down. Clicking the start button at this point switches the close icon back to the small x but doesn't load the start menu.
I am able to get the start menu active by clicking the home hard button (which switches the close icon to the htc drop down) and then clicking the start button. Anybody else experience this or have suggestions to a fix?

Thanks.

Re: [3-25-09] Custom WM6.5 Sprint rom with Rhodium Manila 1C

EDIT: seems there are a bunch of bugs with wm 6.5. fun ROM but i'm not sure 6.5 is useful at this point.

Another bug: when scrolling through the contact list (after hitting the hard send button) the contact items don't invalidate after scrolling off the page and therefore the text gets jumbled.

ROM is really janky. Never had so many issues getting it to boot and behave. With or without customizations. It's really touchy. I want to use it. The new home screen and honeycomb seem really responsive but I had to flash back to stock sprint.

Excellent Rom .. the best evidence that eh, I only have two problems, I can not change the picture on the screen of contacts because the screen is red, and I can not put the xt9 in Spanish

Re: [3-26-09] Custom WM6.5 21198 Sprint rom with Rhodium Manila 1C

About to flash to this. One question.
You recommend flashing to the stock rom. Should I go to the Sprint Shipped rom, or the leaked Sprint Rom?
