The issues you're having aren't because of the ROM. Those issues can happen ANY time you flash a new ROM.

If you look on any one of the ROM threads for different ROMs, you'll see a similar issue in each of them. Whether they are Mighty's, Inda's, intX, etc.

It doesn't happen to everyone, but every once in a while a burn can go south for a number of reasons.

Best option is to put your Diamond into Bootloader, burn the latest Shipped from from HTC's Website (Sprint) or whatever carrier you're using's Stock/Shipped Rom.

After that, then try burning a custom ROM again.

Thanks. You'll find the same gripe on a lot of them. You can only say FLASH a stock or shipped rom so many times...

And how much closer to the word Test can you get other than the word Test?

Yeah, 6.5 is still beta. If you want to play with it at least for now keeping a stock rom handy will go hand in hand with it Mighty's on a tried and true system right now and still on 6.1 for the moment.

Its RHODIUM (test). Do you think I should have to recook it to include every file that xbmod throws out? And then upload and make everyone reflash, heck no.

I was already uploading it for the third time yesterday before I realized the 1d cab wasn't in it. No biggie, I just put it in post two as a link, "along with the link to xbmods thread" and called it a day.

I've been making my own 6.5 21202 rom's and believe me no matter what I do I'm reflashing stock between roms everytime now... I would suggest that the core issue lies with the core OS itself and the way it clears / formats the rom. Like intx and highlife state... 6.5 is beta... it isn't even RTM yet. so expect bugs.

Well said, WarAxe.

Seriously, as a fellow chef, I can appreciate the annoyance Highlife must feel having to deal with people who think they can do it better.

If you don't like the way Highlife runs his SDLC, then why don't you port, develop, release, and support your own, Cellfreak. If you're not willing to contribute in a positive way, then perhaps you ought to consider the site WarAxe is suggesting.

You're making it public, so it's my right to comment. Perhaps you should have PM'd your complaints to him, rather than post them. That way, you won't get people like me taking offense to your poor attitude towards the chef.

And even though you edited that last part out about me sticking with my own ROM, I'll answer it anyway: I test-drive and analyze pretty much every ROM here. That's how I learn. Most of us around here don't profess to know everything, so trying other ROMs helps increase the knowledge.

But I'm sure you already knew that.
