the new email setup in the topaz is missing some of the email setup files i believe. the best way to set up a hotmail or msn account is to go to programs/windows live and sign up using that (the old tf3d just redirected you to this program before)

I have flashed your all carrier generic v.1.1; looks very good, seems very stable, nice and clean. the taskbar can't be changed by the TF3D config prog. I think I've hidden some but what I HAve left is Home, People, messages, Email, Weather, Settings & Programs. Can't change this order, either. HOWEVER, you have, Customize Tabs in Settings which does the trick, thanks.

Still can't figure out what HD refers to in you v. 1.2.

well there are curently 3 main versions of manila: original (from original diamond and touch pro), hd (from htc hd and ht max 4g-adds stock tab and tab customization), and topaz or rhodium (from the new diamond2 and pro2-integrate tf3d deeper into the os and add people centric communication

I updated to the 1.2 HD Rom and so far it seems to be working fine. I did have a some problems with Task Facade so I disabled it. I have not played much with it yet but will do so tonight and hopefully have a better feel for it tomorrow. Does the facebook app actually work? What does it do? I clicked on it but nothing happened so not sure what it really does.

what kind of issues are you having with task facade? cause mine workd well. and which facebook app? the facebook app under the programs list? or the one built into the topaz manila? cause the on built into the topaz manila doesnt work. the facebook app in the programs list works (i just tested it). which version are you using? if it doesnt open the first time you hit the icon hit it again, but give it a second to load. and the facebook app does whst most other facebook apps do.

Task Facade was gving me an error. Cannot recall what it is exactly but that's ok. As far as the facebook, yes the one under programs. It does not open up so I was not sure what it is supposed to do. I have tried it multiple times and nothing happens. It shows the arrows on the internet as if it is trying to connect, then it just stops and the internet connection terminates without the application opening.

This is a great ROM! I do have a problem when using the conflipper weather cab. If you try to scroll the screen goes black and immediatley goes to the Y's and Z's. Anybody have a similar problem? I really have no use for weather in Spain or Italy so I like having the local weather option.
