I just can't support any more roms right now -- 4 is already too much. Ideally I would like to have just one or two rom versions.
hopefully you can work that calendar into a the hd manila, would be great..
i may be trying out the 6.5 again soon. i use my phone too often and it was just a little too non responsive at times for me. but great overall. haven't tried the newest yet.

PLEASE look into the freezing SIP on all the newest. i always find myself going back to groove 3 because there is no freeze issue and i text too damn much.

great work as always though!

Thanks for the kind works, the title is just a joke of course. My sarcastic sense of humor just couldn't resist! (then again, it can also be a discliamer -- ie: well I told you they suck! LOL)

I think you should just stick with Manilla only. You could have a 6.1 and a 6.5 version, but having the no-manilla versions seems like a bit of a waste. I'd leave them up, but don't focus on those. In fact, unless something really big comes out (i.e. incorporating HD with Rhodium), I'd try focus more on 6.5. Your 6.1 ROM is nearly flawless.

But that's just me - There's a reason you're the chef!

Believe me, I've thought about it. The thing is that HD Manila can take up a bunch of space, and if you don't use it, it's just a waste. Some people use other UI's. Just you watch, in a few weeks or whenever spb shell 3 or whatever it is comes out, everyone will be wanting Manila Free ROMs..

Also, I've had a Manila free version for a long time, and I feel that I'd leave a lot of people disappointed if I didn't release one. It also gives people who want a different manila version a chance to cab install whatever Manila they want.

Aside from that, numbers don't lie. In the past 30 hours or so since I posted the links, I've had the following number of downloads of each version:

Code:
File name:grooveROM 4 - WM6.1 no Manila - Build 2.zip
Description:
grooveROM 4 - WM6.1 no Manila - Build 2
Downloads:39
Code:
File name:grooveROM 4 - WM6.1 HD Manila - Build 2.zip
Description:
grooveROM 4 - WM6.1 HD Manila - Build 2
Downloads:111
Code:
File name:grooveROM 4 - WM6.5 no Manila - Build 4.zip :
Description:
grooveROM 4 - WM6.5 no Manila - Build 4
Downloads:89
Code:
File name:grooveROM 4 - WM6.5 HD Manila - Build 4.zip :
 Description:
 grooveROM 4 - WM6.5 HD Manila - Build 4
 Downloads:71
So, you can see that more people actually want 6.5 versions without Manila, but it's the extreme opposite for 6.1 versions.

I agree that I should prolly focus more on 6.5 versions, and I kinda am -- which is why the 6.5 build is on V4 and 6.1 is only V2. In reality, I need to just slow down my releases a bit at this point. I think that everyone will ultimately benefit. So, unless something really exciting happens, don't expect an updated release for a couple-few weeks..

Enjoy my roms, and for you flashaholics, enjoy everyone elses too!

Now the real question is, which version do I flash to before I take a week or two off from flashing?

Re: ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21193.5.0.0)

You're going to have a great release on April 20, right? I am expecting a fabulous surprise...

unless you consider that day a holiday. (I do, it's my B-day)

I think my buddy Capn'Chronic will do the 4-20 release. I've been helping him with his rom a bit, which is based on mine.

I'm running your 6.5 (21193) with the new xbmod TF3D 2 and I must say I'm impressed. Still a bug with the built in SMS even with the V1 fix and sms fix installed but other than that the builds keep getting better and better. Going to test it out more in depth today but seems pretty stable so far.
