Hey groove, I've been on your room since GR4. And I recently went back to Sprint Shipped and It had a couple features that I completely forgot about and was wondering how to put them on your Rom. For one whenever I get a text message a voice alerts me and it actually reads the text message aloud. I never even knew that existed. (as soon as I got the Diamond I went straight to your rom). Also when I click on the upper taskbar (Battery icon, Signal, etc) there is a full screen mode that comes up allowing for me to easily click which one I want.

I was wondering if there is anyway to put these two things on your rom via cab or if you plan to include them on an update. Or is there a setting or reg edit that I can use to get these working on your rom.

Thanks to you again for making great roms and thanks to anyone that can help me out.

Madcook is right. I install this every time I flash Groove's roms. Just soft reset after install and it works. Here is the cab. Make sure to thank Madcook for the info.

Thanks, Does anyone know about the voice-response text messaging? I'll def be Groovin again if I can get that to work!

im pretty sure that's ms voice command which is included in the rom. you just need to enable the options.

Correct. You have the option to read all messages or just the High Priority ones.
Settings;Personal;Voice Command-->Messaging-->Options
You can also have it "read" calendar appointments.

OK, so here's what you do, and this is for aku version only:

- Extract XIP from payload with XIPPorterEX
- Dump extracted XIP.bin with XipPort
- Modify the aku version in boot_ms.rgu
- Rebuild XIP with XIPPort
- Insert new XIP into non-branded payload with XIPPorterEX
- Reduce new payload with ROM Tools in XIPPorterEX
- Use new requced payload in place of the old payload from rom folder
- Build, flash, and enjoy.

For ROM version, that's just a reg edit in the OEMVERSION folder of your OEM base.
