Thanks a million Groove. Worked after soft reset. by the way, if I wanted to swap out opera versions, I assume i would need to close opera9.exe process and then use total commander to delete the opera folder in the windows directory? I wanted to test out the new opera that was posted, version 16277. thanks again.

I haven't tried it yet, but I think you should judt be able to cab install over the built in version. At least that's what I intended when I made the OEM. Let me know if it works.

sounds good. the version cooked is the best I've used thus far, but was curious to check this one out. will report back. Thanks.

update: new version works good overall. rendering speed is about the same and 15613 and scrolling is fluid. same flash performance as other version though but not that big of deal. It might be worth tweaking and trying it out at some point. it's definitely better than 15954.

I didn't like not having the HTC volume control. I installed this custom volume control from XDA

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395695

Seems to be working OK so far.

Nice, it gives a tad more control via the screen.

Hey guys,
Woke up to a frozen phone. Missed my alarm and everything. I have devicelock 1.2 running. Do you think this was the problem? Thanks.

Did the alarm go off, or was your volume turned up? I was using Device Lock and it didn't interfere with my alarm.

Volume was on. The alarm didn't go off. Have no way of knowing when it froze exactly. Had to manually reset it in the morning to work.

I tried again to duplicate the problem, and it's when you don't soft reset at least 2 times directly after loading the ROM and using PIM Backup to restore your device information (contacts, call logs, messages). That's a no brainer, so it was a problem on my end!!

Again, you're rom is the S#1t! I LOVE IT!!
