Re: [3-29-09] ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21198.5.0.

I went back to 6.5 build 7. It seems more stable and offers more available memory. The weather cab works fine and I copied the widget folders from build 8 and placed them in the programs folder in build 7. Now they work correctly on that build for me also.

The only thing I miss is the Rhodium notifications, but I would rather stay with the more stable ROM.

The device lock program still needs to be swiped twice sometimes on this build also. Wish that was fixable as that is really my only complaint.

So weird, I really am not finding any issues with build 8 at all, after my third hard reset. But hey, that's how these "beta" ROMs go!

Are you able to get your widgets working on the Today screen? I haven't had that working on build 6, 7, or current 8...

Anyone know if it's possible to have the 6.5 s2a pop up if the phone is *not* locked. Mine only comes up if the phone is locked, otherwise i get the notification (which i rather not have). Searched through the thread and just keep finding normal requests about the 6.5 s2u...

Oook then, I take back my "no problems" comment lol. I'll keep playing around with this, maybe there's a setting I messed up somehow. This also could explain how no one else mentioned this! Although, it's happened on build 7 as well. Thanks!

Sorry to ruin it for you lol. Have you installed any programs that may affect s2a?

Nope, not yet, only thing I really installed so far was Opera and Touch Response (and did not have TR on last build). Maybe there's a setting I don't realize i'm hitting that's somehow affecting this. I was setting up my phone at 1am and fell asleep with it laying on my chest (its my baby) half complete and with no contacts ha. I'm a horrible father.

Well as long as you don't put sensor lock on there and start shaking your baby I think you are good. Now that I have everything working and configured Groove is gonna release a new build like usual lol.

b8 is definitely better for me, considering that after a Soft Reset (using Reset button in battery compartment) with b7, because it froze after i made a phone call, the phone did a Hard Reset instead. b7 was the first time i flashed back to stock before flashing to b7. b8 is all good though.

I think that he's referring to the 6.5 S2A, not the HTC S2A. 6.5 S2A only works when locked.
