Re: [3-26-09] ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21198.5.0.

Inda,

Is there an easy way to turn of the Rhodium menus so we use the menus that are integrated with each theme?

cab attached.

Also, I personally had issues setting up from the today tab, so I added a shortcut to the weather config that can be found in the system tools folder of the start menu.
Installed it on my Telus Diamond and it works like gangbusters. You just have to know the accuweather code for your city. the format is NAM|country code|state code|city name for example Montreal, QC is NAM|CA|QC|MONTREAL
If you have trouble with it go to accuweather.com find the forecast for your city and you will see the correct code at thened of the URL

Thanks a great addition to my GROOVE ROM

Question Re: [3-26-09] ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21198.5.0.

I am pleasantly surprised at the stability of this ROM but I have noted a bothersome issue and I wonder if there is a workaround.
When I am in a phone call the screen does not lock so I often see the program page opening up and even apps opening..I guess from the pressure of my ear.

Ideas?

I just entered my zip code, and it worked fine.

Press the power button during call to turn screen off.

Easy way here:

Install the attached cab, wait 60 seconds, soft reset.

Re: [3-26-09] ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21198.5.0.

Does anyone know why Messaging starts up with the phone when you power it on or do a soft reset. It says "Messaging" in the top left and there is an "X" on the top right to close it. LSK and RSK looks like the keys when you are in the messaging program, I think they say Delete and Menu. But there is no app on the screen, you can get rid of it by simply pressing the X or pressing a home key. Not too big of a deal just a little annoyance and was wondering if there was some .exe we could stop at start up.

Another thing, when in the phone screen using HTC skin can anyone scroll through their recent calls/contacts list by hiding the keypad and using your stylus/finger. I can't seem to do that and have to use the DPAD.

I'm not sure, it may not be possible.

SOHSH I shoulda thought of that. Is there anything that will do it automatically. Pocket Shield will but brings other issues with it. Something simple...like a registry setting would be greal.

There is a reg edit, but it only works with some sys builds. I'll have to look for it, since I forget which one it is. S2U2 will do it too.
