Re: [3-25-09] ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21198.5.0.

This build is definately faster and smoother and Exchange Sync seems to be holding up. I did notice, however that the menus went way back to 20924 style. I was really liking the new 6.5 menus. Anyone have any ideas here?

The menu style is directly related to the .tsk theme you have selected in Today settings. I'm guessing that you switched themes, and the one you selected has the older style. I'm considering going with the Rhodium menus for the next build..

Check the WMReloclog.txt file in your kitchen folder, and tell me if the last line in that file says something about Camera.exe.0409.mui.

If it doesn't your rom won't boot.

Why not use the Internal Storage\My Docs\My Pictures?

Also, PictureMail doesn't work (won't send the right picture for me) unless the Camera saves it's pictures to the My Pictures folder.

I usually go in and change the registry to disable DCIM, but I see no reason why anyone would store pictures in a DCIM folder. Why not use the My Pictures folder. Seems to make a whole lot more sense.

I LOVE this ROM - it super fast and liking the HD manilla... just ONE thing I can't seem to get working and it's driving me crazy... I can't get flash to work in PIE or Opera... I got the Adobe Flash and the Flash Lite cabs that worked on other ROMs installed on this one and I can't seem to get it working... In Opera under settings I do have Enable plugins checked... using Opera 9.5 15954... any suggestions?

hahaha I can't keep up boss!!! Been running last nights 6.5 and so far so good. I got the lock program to work as well. I disabled the auto back light adjust feature in the power settings because I think it was messing with the locking program; not sure though??

I'll flash this new one after the gym!

EDIT: There was one other thing I noticed.... When you change the background in the today menu, the previous background you selected remains on the bottom of the screen in any menu screen your in, but not the main screen.

So you seem to be working solely on 6.5 now... are you done with 6.1? It's still on Build 2 and 6.5 is already to Build 7... =/

I find 6.5 to be too slow and buggy still personally... (I tried it on build 21172, IIRC) Has the speed/bugs gotten any better since then? Or is it about the same?

I don't use Manila, I use SPB Mobile, which works better on 6.1, but I do like the interface that 6.5 provides, but I don't like how slow it is and the problems with it locking up and not working right... If it was a little more fluid, and less clunky... it would be great...
