I can't seem to get the Custom RUU to work on this rom, it keeps giving me an application error, error ### followed by 0x######. It ask me to debug or terminate.



So I took the HardSPL(?) route & flashed from the internal but oddly enough (judging from boot animation) it loaded as grooveROM3 & not 4.
Unless I downloaded the 6.1 manilla rom too early & the link was bad..?

Can anyone tell me what I "goofed" on?

blackocean - dude you have a bad habit of quoting the front page for no reason (which you have done on numerous occasions and on numerous occasions people called you out on) and filling up whole page by posting 4 times in a row by yourself, be courteous to groove and other devs and try to keep their threads neat by pressing edit button to say whatever you have to say.

I downloaded grooveROM 4 - WM6.1 HD Manila.zip and installed it and it is GrooveRom 3 still. It even says ROM 3 in the flash utility. Is the wrong zip file loaded to the mirror?

Nevermind, I read that by shortening the folder name, this problem goes away....

I got it to load grvooeROM4, I just had to delete the (unzipped) grooveROM3s I had on the folder, in order to get it to work.

maybe the custom RUU was looking outside its folder chronologically? Who knows... Hopefully your situation was like my own.

Much appreciated. I renamed Rom 3 as old and stuck Rom 4 in the same folder. It caused it to find Rom 3 for some reason. I removed Rom 3 and Rom 4 showed up in the Flash Utility. I am flashing now. Thanks for your help!=D>

Is anyone having problems with the weather app. i am in new york city. and i am unable to select it. there seems to be something odd with the navigation of the weather app. also I am unable to find other countries.

I use conflippers custom weather database in my manila, and it only includes US cities. NYC should work fine though.

ok thanks for the prompt reply. i do find NY state. but i am unable to scroll to NYC. is anyone else having this problem.
