Yes, I noticed there is a lot of people having this problem. I will use the sys's from 4.4a to see if that solves it.

utee05, are you having this problem with v1.0, because I didn't notice this issue in that version.

Anyone have any idea what is causing the phone to not show the correct time.

Well with v1.0 my time did not sync up automatically so I had to manually update my clock to move 1hr ahead.

When checking the settings used in most (if not all) of the custom roms I have flashed, I have noticed that the automatic switch to daylight savings time (default value) is turned off. Has anyone having the time zone issues opened the Advanced Configuration Tool and switched this value back to automatic switching (default)? I am out of the country right now so I can't verify whether this will solve the problem or not, but if someone could try it and report back it would be helpful to everyone. Good luck!

I enabled the option in Advanced Config tool to auto switch to daylight sayvings and after the reboot, my phone defualted back to -4 GMT Atlantic time, as mentioned I'm on Eastern time. So it appears the issue has to do with the phone defaulting to a time zone of its own choice.

I'm curious those of you seeing this issue the time zone change your seeing is it forcing your phone to a time zone one hour ahead of you?

Yes, I had to remove the link because of a time issue the ROM was having, I am trying to fix this by changing to the SYS from 4.4a. So far, I haven't experience any text freezing.
