Well, this official release is really bad. My phone is crawling with this on it. I will have to try something else.

I installed it and it's running great.

I shutoff stupid TF3D on all phones. I will try the new SPB Shell when it comes out.

Deleted a few pieces of junkware in program files.

Killed the word match stuff that has been broken on every sprint rom and probably causing some peoples hangs.

And it's been running great. Been running cool and good battery life.

I don't use Media Player

IGuidance, Exchange, Text, Tether, VoiceCommand over bluetooth and Weather Panel is about all I need. 30mb free with everything I want installed.

I wonder if this is the one mid-life release for this phone.

I'm super happy with this phone.

My only wish is it had an SD socket so I could upgrade to iGuidance 5.0

I really like this rom for decent speed and great stability and battery life. I just can't stand TF3D anymore or the bloatware. Does anyone have the raw .nbh so I can cook me up a custom from it?

How does one know if this is an official release? I did download it, but I have not installed it yet.

I was also looking at other roms, currently still running the stock rom.

This is not an 'official' release since it's not yet on HTC's site. The only way we'll know if this is the same is by waiting for it to be posted by HTC, then doing a binary compare of the files.

My guess (and it's only that), based on earlier leaks and the fact that "ship" is in the file name, is that this will either be identical to the official release, or will have only a few files that are different.

Every day that goes by without this file showing up on HTC's site makes me think this is a "release candidate", and not the final.

We'll see ...

You could be right that this is a RC. I wonder how the OP got the rom? Anyhow, I can wait a bit longer

I've been on this ROM for a day, and it is total garbage. I flashed back to the stock sprint rom first, then back to this one, just to be sure. How could this be an official release if you can't even answer the phone? Everytime that the phone rings, when I slide it to 'answer,' the entire slide bar gets garbled, and after you hit the answer button like 3 times it finally answers.

Did you try doing a hard reset to be on the safe side?

I flashed from OMJ to stock to this and it's worked perfectly.
