So I did a test. I dumped the registry before plugging it in and after. The only differences between the two is settings for time and powerstate. So I don't think the issue is in the registry.

dude uninstall the first cab you installed (but don't soft reset), then install this cab, and it should be perfect. I have the phone plugged in now and I'm still getting visual feedback.... but thats what I did and it is perfect...
