Have you checked the Device Information under settings? The esn is listed there, and how about the Bar code behind the battery. ESN should be there as well.

If none of those helps. Not a solution, but maybe an explanation:

I have seen phones being sold on Ebay purely for parts because the phones were not issued ESN's for whatever reason, and therefore would be missing those NVM folders.

Where did you acquire this phone?

A friend but not sold for parts, he doesnt even know how to sync a song and had it working on sprint before.

Heres the deal, I dont have the phone I had sold it to a guy that wants it for another provider and he is claiming the NVM folders are deleted and the phone is useless, and I am not talking of the esn printed I am talking about the codes embedded into the phone esn/prl ect, they are suppose to be in this folder.
