This isn't happening on my wife's phone at the same time though. I really think it may have something to do with activesync. Sometimes when I activesync it's fine and still rings but other times it won't ring while activesynced and then it's all screwy afterwards. I just tested it and it's happening on the shipped sprint ROM as well so at least I know it's not OMJ's ROM that was doing it.

When you reflash a radio, it says it's overwriting the old ROM but I'm guessing it's just adding the radio, correct?

If you flash a radio only rom (see stickies) you will overwrite the radio portion only, not OS.

Flash to ship to restore to stock 100%.

If you did that and it still no workey, there's only two possibilities (ok 3):

1. Sprint sucks
2. Your phone sucks
3. You screwed up your pri, or some other ETSP settings (unlikely -- does it connect to internet ok?)

Re: How to reflash stock sprint ROM?

Quite a few people, who have done multiple rom flashes, have had different problems crop up. They seem to be almost random, but the universal fix, is flashing back to the shipped rom, and start all over. Listen to Indagroove.....he knows what he's talking about.

Re: How to reflash stock sprint ROM?

Well flashing back to the shipped ROM still had that issue come up in my quick testing but adding the 1.11 radio has seemed to have cured it (30/30 with no missed calls). I'm gonna keep trying to get it to miss a call but if not that may have solved it, I sure hope so!! If so, I'll probably go back to OMJ's 2.00 since that wasn't the problem, then load that 1.11 radio.

Re: How to reflash stock sprint ROM?

Damn, just saw OMJ was already using that radio! It must be something else. I'm able to connect to the internet so what could I have possibly done to my PRI? Is there any setting I should check?

Re: How to reflash stock sprint ROM?

Ok, it has to be something with either ActiveSync or at least the port. It worked 40 times in a row and then I hooked it to ActiveSync and it stopped working, even after I unplugged it again. I'm wondering if it's software of if the port shorts out the radio somehow for a period of time? I still show bars.

You seem to be a little confused. The radio and the rom are really separate, except the shipped/stock one that came from Sprint. When you flash to custom roms, that doesn't change your radio....you would have to do that manually. The great thing is, that you can not only choose the rom that fits you best, you can also select the radio that works best for you. There is one other thing to remember....there are a few of us, who always use clear storage after flashing to a new rom, and it seems to minimize any random ill effects. Hope your missed calls are a thing of the past....good luck.

edit....just saw your post. It could be A/S, try reinstalling it. Or it could be that your phone just has issues. Get the insurance!

Re: How to reflash stock sprint ROM?

I think I may need to deal with insurance. I've now found that sometimes when I plug it in, whether it be activesync or to the wall that it stops receiving calls. It gets fixed once I place a call from the phone. So strange but I'm getting more and more confident it's a hardware issue. I'm just really not looking forward to getting a refurb!

They don't always give you a refurbished phone. I had problems with my Touch a couple of times, and I always got a brand new one.

Really? They told me over the phone it'd be refurbished. So you just had toe $7/month insurance and brought it to the store?
