My Notes:

Many of you know from the Vogue Arena, this is my crack at the Diamond. It's based off the new leaked sprint rom. I just speeded it up and added what I use. I go for stable, I don't go for a "Higher Version Number". So if you are looking for hyped-aku-cpu-etc...Not here.

There is still a little bit of a learning curve with this new device, I got it a month ago and didn't have time to play with it until this week. So if you know of a tweak that I need to add, program you would like to see, something in here doesn't work, LET ME KNOW and I'll fix it!

Enjoy the rom, I don't know why Sprint can't release something like this. :)

*** Caution: My Ethical Thoughts & Other Legal Stuff

Just because you can find a program in another rom you've downloaded, it doesn't make it free. Cell phone carriers pay a licensing fee to have a program like AdobeFlashv3.1 in their roms. One reason I stay away from the "cutting" edge. In a younger life I wrote software, and I will abide by the code and if I see a takedown notice on another site, I'm gonna error on the side of caution. xda was aproached by the legal staff of Adobe and asked to take it down, I extend that legal notice to my work.

I don't want a multi-million dollar company taking the shirt off my back and I don't want to bring any trouble to ppcgeeks.com. So if you hear me say "Refer to post #3", this is why.

UCAutorun - Installs netcfv3.5 to maintain the stock volume control, then UC will run your \Internal Storage\sdconfig.txt. I'll add a link later...

Any chance of adding the new Camera, Social Networks Engine, Phonecanvas (S2A dialer) and the New Youtube, Full Flash Support, just asking, these are pretty much what most people are looking for. Downloading Now.

Thanks guys! I just like to release roms that utilize my tutorials so that end-users know what can be done. It's very seldom you find a rom with a custom start menu's, custom sounds and a few other perks I do. Later in the week I'll upload all my current OEM's, and you guys/gals will have an OEM package you can drop into a kitchen, like calcu's. Some of the tutorial oem's have "evolved" quite a bit and are different than what I had with my tutorials.

Hi Rstoyguy

It seems like many are adding flash 3.1. To me, skyfire seems to best alternative for flash content. I did notice an interesting thread on the tp forum regarding a flash/tcpmp project that may be worth implementing in future releases. Here's the link:

not sure about the newest version.. but 1.2 was giving the gibberish as first word in text when using t9. also i would get pretty frequent freezing when texting. i would be typing a word and everything would just freeze for about 5 seconds then resume.

I got the freezing as well. It's a little bit annoying and hopefully can be resolved.

I'll give the xt9 a workout today and see what I can find. I haven't changed anything from the leaked sprint rom as far as messaging goes. I'll dig through the provxml's and see what I can find. I'm an old fart and don't text much... :)

Thanks again for the input, looks like the rom priorities are:
1. Add Flash (testing)
2. Ensure messaging/xt9 is tweaked.

If anyone has a working fix/enhancement for anything in this rom, pm me. Anymore I only get my "kitchen time" for about an hour each day...

The xt9 is some pretty buggy stuff in winmobile. I can always turn it off.

im having simular texting issues and I'm not on your rom. I am however on a 2.0 leaked based rom. I think it has something to do with that and not your individual roms?

Yep, my rom is built using the 2.0 leaked rom as a base. So the above edits should work for you as well. And thanks for validating my new "blamin it on sprint" theory. The above fixes work for me, I don't use predictive input so I'm much happier now. :)

You should try this rom mikejfrd, you get all the comforts of a stock rom, and some cool customizations. :mrgreen:

Sprint TV and all the other apps are cooked in. The logic was that you want the stock rom, why wait for customizations? I want you all to go from romupgradeutility to enjoying a new rom style in less than 10 minutes so you can start playing with it...

Couldn't you just use a non buggy version of the Diamond SIP? Also, is there a way you could trim out all the bulk out of the ROM so that you we have some memory to use for other things.

awesome release on 1.3! love the look and feel of the it. love the announced emails! volume display is amazing. very functional and creative. I just flashed 1.3 but what the heck, on to 1.4. quick question.
By disabling xt9, will I still have the ability to use t9 on the compact querty?

sorry one more, have you experienced the ringer issue that has been prevalent on the some of the other roms? where the ringer just stops working?

also I tried extracting the file but received a corrupt file error. not sure why.
