Hmm... Works fine here. I moved the link to StartMenu-Programs-Multimedia-Camera btw...It does say "Custom" in the thread title, I take it a step further than most. Check that, I just don't like my start menu cluttered with 50+ entries...

speaking of the cam,
is there a way to speed up how long it takes to actually snap the picture? the vogue was really fast, or is it because its a 3.2 mp?

I have not done any camera tweaks yet, I was waiting for you to beat me over the head with a list.

I send a picture once a week to my boss. For a stack of batteries, it works for me. But there is a hack for that, a couple extra modes, and what not. Any request? I miss my vogue camera button but I can't add that.... lol

yea, just make it take pictures faster, it takes about 25 seconds for me to take a pic...and for those "i cant believe this" moments, thats waaayyy too slow
ill think of some more...

if it takes 25 seconds to take a pic you have a defective phone

ok, so 25 seconds was a little exageration....but ive been messing with the camera and heres what ive noticed:
1. takes about 15 seconds from pressing camera button to actually snap picture.
2. it seems to have to focus for aprox 3-4 seconds before actually taking the picture (gives the little green square in the center)
3. im guessing its supposed to make a "click" sound, even with volume turned off? it feels like an actuall shutter is going off
4. i can not switch the storage area to the internal drive, it will only allow me to save pictures to main memory.
5. going to the album directly from the camera mode seems to freeze, where you cant back out. pressing the end key is the only way ive been able to escape.

this is what ive noticed.. its probably going to be different for each person. if there are any fixes to these issues i dont know about, please let me know...and i appologize in advance if im missing something really stupid...

This one is fun...

Panorama shots can now be stitched together from 3 mpixel photos. I think it run out of memory if you set it to the greatest number of stitches, (maybe you fix?

) but otherwise works fine and is cool for taking interesting or very wide angle shots.

Oh, and the current ROM really is coming together well...

(maybe a little overkill with the 6 rings to choose from,

but the free space is awful nice...)

Seems like a memory hog. I'll test it and if it's not too bad, I'll include it.
