For those with xt9 problems try: Turn off xt9 post #4, Code:
REGEDIT4 ; Turn off Predictive text input (XT9) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010409] "ime file"="compime.dll" "layouttext"="COMP IME" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SIP] "SuggWords"=dword:0 HKCU\ControlPanel\KeyBd InitialDelay=125 (original value 375) RepeatRate=2 (original value 8 ) See which fix works and that's the one(s) I'll implement. I like the lag fix, and I'm for turning off xt9 all together... Edit: I've done both, and it's BLAZIN! Even touchpal is fast now! Edit: If you do the first hack, your stock keyboards will do all numbers...I don't use em so I'll put em in my personal OEM... Last edited by rstoyguy; 01-23-2009 at 09:21 AM. |

im having simular texting issues and I'm not on your rom. I am however on a 2.0 leaked based rom. I think it has something to do with that and not your individual roms?

You should try this rom mikejfrd, you get all the comforts of a stock rom, and some cool customizations. |

How does the Sprint TV install? Is it such that it can be removed via the Remove Programs option in settings? Thanks.

Sprint TV and all the other apps are cooked in. The logic was that you want the stock rom, why wait for customizations? I want you all to go from romupgradeutility to enjoying a new rom style in less than 10 minutes so you can start playing with it...

Couldn't you just use a non buggy version of the Diamond SIP? Also, is there a way you could trim out all the bulk out of the ROM so that you we have some memory to use for other things.
