And, of course, do yourself a favor - don't start off using the antiquated tools in bepe v1 and v2 kitchens.
Some folks like to make their own OEM base from stock bro.

..and yes, you've said it before. We hear you loud and clear, use PPCKitchen, use PPCKitchen, use PPCKitchen, use PPCKitchen, use PPCKitchen...

Yes, and it's kinda like doing your math homework. Interesting to know how, not really fun to do, nothing artistic about it, and the end result is just like the guy next to you's result if you (and he) did it right.

That's not what I said. I said "don't use old Bepe". I prefer PPCkitchen to new Bepe, but that's because PPCkitchen does what I need better.

Are you sure you didn't say that?:

lol - You're mixing threads. We both know that when you repeated it, you're referring to our prior conversation.

Yes, the OP should use PPCkitchen. His learning curve will be much shorter and he'll be more productive in the end. YOU should use anything but old Bepe.

Re: Building my own ROM

If I'm getting to ahead of myself let me know since I'm just starting to cook a ROM...but is it easy to take the SYS from calkulin v1 21109 and cook it into the leaked sprint ROM or is that more advanced. and if so how would you go about doing that?

Why would you want to? Just use either 21109 or 20764. Mixing rom and sys can work, but what's the point when you can have a complete OS of one specific build?

Yes. You use the copy command, once you have the new rom kitchen-ized. There are potential pitfalls, but you're not likely to run into them.

I take it back. You should use PPCkitchen too.
