sprint diamond cannot sync II

sprint diamond cant sync need help....
need help or any info on how to enable my sync cable. when i hook the usb cable it only charges my phone, it doesnt let my go to where it says disk drive or active sync. does any one have info on how to solve this problem.......

I tried to download media device center that still didnt work
I was wondering if there is a way to reconnect it or if there is somewhere to enable it...

I tried and no luck.... if someone knows anyting i have windows vista 64 bit
windows media device center and it wont connect............

start > settings > connections > usb 2 pc

try unchecking enable faster data syncronization

thanks ......

I did what you recomended but it didn't work it only reconizes the battery charge but it wont let the usb sync it's wierd....

Is there any thing else i can do how can it reconize charging the battery but wont go to that screen that says disk drive or active sync...

Start > programs > activesync >....from there menu > connections....now uncheck the box and then recheck the box, I had the same problem a few flashes ago.....hope it helps

That's funny, I just started having this exact same problem tonight. For me, I was using Mighty 3.8 and wanted to move the 3.9 file to my phone. I ended up moving them via Bluetooth, figuring that a flash to 3.9 would fix my problem. Nope.

I tried both suggestions in this thread and haven't had any luck yet.

What is Device manager on your computer classifying the phone as?.....

its not even connecting to the sync at all, it doesn't see the usb cable to be connected but it does know its connected because it still charges the phone...


i put the usb cable in the bottom of the phone and it charges it doesn't connect to my computer its wierd .....

i tried going to sprint one of there techs tried, it connects to his but it wont connect to mine....

reboot pc/soft reset device, but for clarification ur PC is running XP or vista??

aahh, 64 bit, i heard they were problematic. reason i asked cuz u were mentioning activesync but running vista, but its all gud now. cudnt hurt to uninstall and reinstall wmdc
