Using Mighty 3.9 I just had the same issue. This morning my phone was sluggish so I did a soft reset, and it hard reset itself. I think that I will try the stock flash fix.

1: Format your Internal Storage with SDFormatter
2: Shutdown
3: Flash
4: Hard reset

Re: Issue with all 20XXX roms!: No programs then soft reset=hard reset

I'm so glad I searched. I've been going all day. My phone has started over like a million times. I'm glad there are people to help so I don't have to act a Donkey at Sprint tomorrow

Re: Issue with all 20XXX roms!: No programs then soft reset=hard reset

I have problems with them too, every time i flashed a 20xxx rom it would run fine for a bit then start to pause and stutter. I finally gave up and went back to stock, there is a pretty good guide at XDA for tweaking and my stock rom seems as fast for me as any custom rom I have flashed on here. The only minus is I have 13mb of rom storage space after I installed all the goodies I wanted.

I've been preaching that mantra nearly continually for the few months I've been active here... and I get made fun of, but the fact is it has proven to be a solution for MANY folks having problems... which in my book makes it a best practice.

1) Flash SHIPPED (not stock)
2) Wait for phone to finish configuration/booting
3) Flash radio (if you want)
4) Flash custom rom
5) Wait for phone to finish configuration/booting
6) Clear storage (no need to format internal storage unless you want)
7) Wait for phone to finish configuration/booting
Enjoy!

BTW, once you unlock you're good -- flashing to shipped won't re-lock your phone.

So I wasn't the only one. ;D I had the same problem about a week ago (hell, my phone is still brand spankin' new!) and I flashed stock, then back to custom. Works great so far.

I tried this many times and sadly it made no difference for me

Hey Calcu, beside this OEM never worked for me anyway. I had it installed and it has the "Delete All" menu in the Mail app, but clicking on it launches the bluetooth something, I was like wth?? So I never installed it again in the 2xxx build.

Also, I thought this is due to the way how we adjusting the partition in the ROM that cause it to mess up no??
