EDIT: Most of the hardware wont work ofc and as for differences between gsm/cdma phones who cares except for the mmc. I'm curious if anyone has been able to get the mmc mounted on a cdma phone. If you can run this your mmc is being mounted correctly.
Personally I dont care myself if it is GSM or CDMA. Try going over to XDA and flashing a gsm rom on your diamond and see what happens. All I was stating is that if roms have to be built specific for GSM and CDMA then its possible that the android that is being distributed by them hasnt been built around a CDMA.

Worked for me on Sprint Touch Diamond (CDMA)
some notes: the colors are still funky

you need to tweak the screen calibration (the screen calibration is upside down)
delete msmts_calib=<xmin>.<ymin>.<Xmax>.<Ymax> from your default.txt file
then after it says "cant access..." touch the screen. It will then prompt you to touch the top LEFT corner (there will be a small red dot which is hard to see) and then the bottom RIGHT corner.

Don't delete the file. Copy the default.txt file from your Diamond to your desktop. Open it up with any text editor. Edit the 2nd to last line so that it says:
Code:
set cmdline "mem=64M msmsdcc_id=2"
save your changes. Then drag the default.txt file on the desktop back to Diamond\Internal Storage\tmp\
when it asks you if you want to overwrite says yes. (and say yes if it asks you if you want to put the file on the phone even though the phone can't edit it.)
Then run Harriet.exe and when you press the screen after the "can't access..." dialog it will prompt you to calibrate the screen.

Re: Touch Diamond Android 1.0 but working on cdma?

From the looks of the thread over at xda (link) it sounds like a almost fully working version will be available relatively soon.
