my texting seems to be fine.

One random thing i noticed is that the mobile loading thing keeps coming up and wont go away even though nothings running.

Apps installed tend to load up a lot slower also but besides that the 4.2 is fast in every other field

sigh.... let me explain how XT9_IME works

you will get a few predictions

prediction 1 - the letters you typed in sequence.... no guessing here, so typically it will be junk unless you're trying to do an acronym like TTYL or BRB

prediction 2 - the most likely, true prediction... this is always highlighted as the first prediction is likely not correct

prediction 3, etc. - same as 2

On the stock ROM, as well as a few other ROMs, this never occurs. It also wasn't occurring in your 4.0 release.

Depends which stock rom you're talking about

I pulled XT9 and IME directly from the latest GSM stock rom (2.00 WWE) and this is how it works.

Thought I'd bump this, I am now running 4.2 (up from 3.9) and Viigo no longer works for me either, it must have something to do with the new Sys.

Edit: Error (UriFormatException) is caused by an assembly not being located, it must be Sys related because the app presents a download for .NET CF 2.0 automatically. I suppose we'll have to wait this out as Viigo is still in beta.

4.2 camera doesn't work on sprint htc touch diamond.
youtube program crashed once and the user interface while watching a video doesn't work. Also active sync doesn't show its running

I can't speak to the camera or youtube, but with active sync it will not show up in the running programs list but it does work. On the stock rom, you can see it but not on this rom and many others. If you go into settings, you will see it usually running there. easiest way to test it is send yourself a test email.

Active Sync is there, he just has it run as an exclusive program so it doesnt show up in the Task Manager Menu.
