Re: [12-13-08] Juicy ROM 4.2 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]

Hello Juicy47, excellent ROM currently using 4.1 and the only issue I am having is w/Opera and the internet connection.

I did not do the Bell customization and setup my internet manually. Every program seems able to connect to the data but when starting Opera it gives me a network error, but if the connection is already established it works fine. Is their a setting somewhere I can change (i.e. registry) that would solve this, Just finally got it to what I want and would hate to have to reflash.

I have been having trouble with GPS ever since I have flashed to the Juicy roms. I love the speed of the ROM and size, and don't want to flash back to Sprint's rom. I have used 3.9, 4.0, 4.1, & 4.2. On all these roms when I use google maps it cannot aquire GPS. It searches forever for satelites before giving up.

I have tried searching the forums, but don't seem to be able to find anything that directs me to a fix for this ( I am relatively new to this, so I might have missed something). I have made sure location settings were on in the phone settings menu. I tried manually prgramming Google Maps to the correct Com port & baud rate to no avail. I have also hard reset my device after flashing to roms with no success.

Anyone else had this trouble on a Sprint diamond and been able to find a fix?

Thank you.

do you have the correct com port set up? have you tried the intermediate driver setting?

The first letter doesn't appear when used for the first time after rebooting the phone and using T9 mode.
It seems to work fine 2nd time or in Alpha mode.
