so far so good,

i've a few so far.. only 1 missing is Juicy .. so far OMJ gps works with yours , listening to FM Radio right now :)

For reason I'm having bad luck with rom and my battery life.
Dont know why 2 days already battery sucks itself to death

Nevermind.. I think is cuz I have the 1.03.15F radio gonna flash to another one since I hear all but good things about OMJ rom :)

the rom is based on the official sprint rom, but since carrier customization has been removed, it would probably be fine for other non-sprint users to flash. I don't believe anyone has tried yet, but I'd like to know if someone does....some things that definitely wont work is Sprint TV, and the PRL/Profile updaters.

I know when I was using the Touch, I ran non-sprint roms most of the time, without issue.

Here is a custom rom w/ custom start menu & title bar icons I just built for nolimitzr1, this is based on my custom Sprint rom, the only thing removed is Sprint Nav. This theme was based on tsowen's theme (thanks).

OMJ i just tried out this rom i have run into a bug. When you go to the messaging tab Tflo restarts.

Other than that this ROM is nice. Can you post the cab that you are using for the start menu and titlebar icons? Thanks

i havent had that issue, and i'm on the messaging tab the most.....I am rebuilding the rom with the 2 manila files that correct the minor bug I posted about.......

I rebuilt the custom icon rom, the bricks are fixed, but the custom background will not display....it can be added via settings\wallpaper (attached)...

im mobile now so i cant do a good search my touchflo isnt running snoothly. the self scroll is jerkey on pie and opera is anyoneelse having this problem

Wow. I've been trying to get a ROM like this for a while. Been using using Juicy's and Mike's and like them- but these are really different. I totally want those topbar icons.
The only thing I don't see in the lists- do your roms (either of them) have MS VoiceCommand?
Also, do you have some sort of simple instructions for how to do the user customization? I've used the OEMizer when making my own ROMs with a Kitchen, but I don't see where an OEM would get installed here. Or do CAB files go somewhere?

Bummin'- those icons on the topbar aren't included in the ROM.
I did answer my own question though. It looks like MSVC is included here.

i thought I remember someone getting TF3D to work on the touch, but you'd be better off w/ TF2D.....check out my custom touch roms....the link is in my sig.

Which rom did u flash? to get the custom titlebar/start menu icons, u need to flash this one:

basically you use UC to auto install additional cabs u want to install, and it will also execute .xml files, which can setup your email, make reg edits, etc.

Cool- I flashed this rom and got my icons, but I can't get any custom backgrounds to change. I tried yours and a few others [480x640] and none would show.

Reading back over your post... you said change it in settings\wallpaper. I don't have a Wallpaper setting. I've always changed wallpaper in settings;personal\Today and either changed the theme or selected an image for the background. Neither has worked for me in this case.

One thing I wanted to ask about- On the TF3D slider, all of the tabs/icons look normal when selected, but the SprintTV icon gets a neon overlay when selected and until my finger lifts.

NOW THIS IS WIERD. Now, I don't have a SprintTV tab. It's disappeared. Maybe time to hard reset...

Correct. The device is an HTC TouchDiamond. If you have the regular QVGA Touch, don't even try it.

The TouchDiamond is the upgrade from the Touch. It is virtually identical to the TouchPro with a few differences- TP has a h/w keyboard and an external memory card slot. The TDiamond has 4GB of internal memory and a little less Program/Storage memory onboard. The TPro also comes with a few more business oriented apps. The TDiamond has also had it's FM radio hacked so that it works and the TPro hasn't... yet. The TPro is also a little bigger.
I think that's about it.
Both have a strong group working on ROMs and Kitchens.
I got the Diamond thinking that I'd switch to the Pro- but I don't think I will switch.

As i am trying out this rom for a few days, i like it.
esp. bec it has all the sprint things in it.

but, one problem i have is that...
when in Opera and moving around a page with my finger
Opera suddenly turns off and goes to TF3 screen so that i need to restart Opera. this thing somehow happened to me with Ivan's rom also. is it just me? it seems ok w/ ie i think.

Go the settings widget on TF3D, it's the 2nd to the last on far right. there is a wallpaper setting, that's where you choose your wallpaper.

no, you're not the only one, I have seen this too. It may be the Opera build, I know this has been reported on other builds too....I'll see what I can find out for the most stable build.

Hi OMJ..

Thank you for a great ROM!

I only have one problem/ question.

I installed yesterday, everything perfect. Booted up today and on the start page the battery meter now has the time instead.

Not sure what happened, any ideas how to get it back?
I did change the theme and clock, not sure if that would have overwritten something...

that file is just a list of links to various video sites, ie YouTube, Google, etc. some of the links/sites require different versions of Flash or Java, so some will work some wont. u just have to try, i just tried YouTube Full & Google Full & was able to play vids no problem


more than likely something u installed changed this registry key....

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock

set it to 0 & soft reset
