Re: [ Dec 22 \ OS 5.2.20940 v3.6 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.2, ROMs & Cabs

Im using 3.5 and I like it. so I dont want to reflash. How do I restore the volume buttons to control the volume? They are functioning like dpad up/down buttons.

Re: [ Dec 22 \ OS 5.2.20940 v3.6 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.2, ROMs & Cabs

Loaded up 3.6 last night. It is pretty great. Memory usage is down about 5% from my 3.5 build.

*Bug - charging icon does not turn back to battery icon after unplugging (I am using the 3 bar rev a). Also, not sure about this one, but notifications may not be occuring while charging.

Calku - What did you do to keep the TF clock from minimizing? Is it a reg tweak? Please let me know. Thanks.

I really love this kitchen. Thanks, Calku.

The only problen I see on the 20xxx is the file explorer which is a little buggy. If you scrow up and down it gets kind scrambled. I wish there was a fix!

Yes! i'm having some very significant problems with 3.6. I thought it was working okay last night, and this morning i got into a Touchflo restart loop. Says touchflo is starting, then says tap here, then says starting, then tap here...etc. Makes the phone unusable.

I'm going back to 3.5a. The only thing i added to the OEM's was tom tom navigator, which i hadn't even run. Might be something in my provision file to set the program buttons on the program tab, or maybe it's in the email setup. Either way.....it's a no go for me.

Calcu (or anyone else who may know);

I am using the ArcSoft MMS with 3.6.

When sending a picture message, the first time I send every message, it fails, but I can retry as soon as it does, and then it goes through. Anyone else expericening this?

Or is there a fix for this?

When I use the kitchen and add the volume control it makes my vol buttons act like th d-pad, so I just never add volume control. Not necessarily a fix ... kind of a work-around.

This is an older volume control that I use. I don't have any bugs when I use it. If you like, drop it in your OEM folder and overwrite the included volume dll. It should fix this for ya.

Hope this helps.

It seems that the 3.6 kitchen is a lot more battery friendly than the 3.5 kitchen.

No extra battery tweaks added for this version that I remember

Are you using the kitchen or ROMs?

Use the battery.dll from the 1% and it should work, as the current one is the new one and maybe the problem

If you disable touchflo gestures, scrolling will be a little smoother but you will loose multi-select, the reg key is

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Gestures\Touch
Disabled

Your using the cab that installs or not selecting it from the kitchen are you? Because the cab version that installs with the Sprint carrier option works on mine to send and receive just fine but then again, I've only used it like 10 times

I know... that's why I wish there was a fix without compromising... that's the very only thing I dislike on the 20xxx... but I guess we can live with that. Thanks Calc!
