Hey Con.. Do you think you could throw in the In Call Recording from HTC into your next ROM?

Conflip, IIRC you at one point changed the GPS driver (updated) and then went back to stock, correct?

Care to elaborate a little on this?

Re: 1/12/09 Conflippers Alltel UC ROM (5.2.20759 Build 20759)

I love this ROM. I love the colors, the speed, the battery life and the little extras!! I didn't think I would find a chef to replace Juicy, but I DID! Keep it up!

I do have two questions / requests regarding the TF3D/Manilla contained in this ROM.

1.] I am on the Sprint network and I was wondering if there was anyway to remove the Alltel logo from the home screen of TF3D in the up left-hand corner?

2.] Is there a .cab or .zip file that you know of to add the Calendar tab and Call history tab with the Manilla contained in this ROM? This is not a standard version of Manilla and when I tried changing it using a file from XDA I got a t-mobile version, so the clock stopped and I had Alltel AND T-Mobile on my home page. Geeeezzzzeeee....!!!

Thanks for the ROM and the help.

i cooked the telus manila in with con's rom, but i think if you go to Calcu's thread for his rom, the alltel manila there that he has doesnt have the alltel logo..at least it doesnt have it in the thumbnail he has posted up. you could give it a shot...its a cab install.

Joe,

If you use the TF3D config program you can hide the branding. Thats what I did when I had the alltel manilla on my sprint phone. Oh when you install the TF3D config program you also need to go to the program files for TF3D config and rename the 'tweaks' file to just tweak. Otherwise the TF3D config will not work. I've attached the link that you can go to and get the TF3D config program. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749

That is correct, I am using the same drivers that alltel included in the stock rom. I will try changing the GPS mode to 1 in next rom.

Over in my Touch pro rom section, the very first post there is a file, add that to your Windows folder and it should fix that.

Got all kinds of new files yesterday. So going to work with those. also 20769 is not a very good base OS just so everyone knows. I am now testing out 20765 to see how i like that.

Re: 1/12/09 Conflippers Alltel UC ROM (5.2.20759 Build 20759)

Ok so I just put it on my diamond which is a sprint diamond but flashed to alltel. One main thing I figured out that I dont like is the keyboard. Is there anyway that I can get the original keyboard or an updeated one that is like the original??? I really hate to use the t9 and I dont like how it has 2 letters per key so you have to tap it twice for 1 letter.

If there is anyway I can get a fix on this, or maybe you already have one and give me the link that would be GREAT!!!!!

So far I am highly enjoying this rom!!!

Thanks in advance and hope you can help....

Are you saying that your keyboard is in the Compact QWERTY? Just change the keyboard to Full QWERTY in Input under Settings.

Re: 1/12/09 Conflippers Alltel UC ROM (5.2.20759 Build 20759)

Thanks Bleeblak. I tried that, and you are right it was set on compact qwerty. So I changed it to the full qwerty. Well I went to check to see if it worked the way I wanted it to. It doesnt, so I go back into settings and it had changed back to compact. I have changed it 3 times and it keeps changing back..... Any suggestions?????
