This is only for an alltel diamond. I have said this in the past, I have an alltel phone, so the only way i can say it will work or not, is by testing, So I can only test on Alltel, So I will only develop for alltel.

This is for the most part a Stock Alltel ROM, but Here is a list of changes I have done.

Activesync is being retarded, You may have to go to Start-Settings-Connections- USBtoPC and check the Advance connection, in order for it to connect.

Directions

1. Unlock your phone Using directions posted at this site.

2. Download and Flash this ROM file

3. After your phone has started up, it is recommended to do a hard reset, it helps everything run better, but if you dont want to, it is not required.

4. Let the customizer run, and Enjoy your new ROM.

yes i do, I used a combination of Juicy battery tweaks, and calcu battery tweaks. and everything else i could find to try and make the battery a little bit better.

First bug, when browseing around using Opera when the device goes into sleep and locks itself. I am unable to unlock it..some times it lets me unlock it but mostly it glitches.

Seems to be semi behaving now.....is there a way to disable to autolock? I that the normal lock feature or an added program that I can not uninstall?

i never expierence that, try looking at Start-settings-buttons-Longpressendkey. that is the only lock i know should be on there. I am testing now, to see if i can duplicate it.

Freaking wierd, I looking to Settings-Lock and the lock is disabled........doing a hardreset on it now to see if that helps. (The auto lock problem is still there for now)

okay sorry about that, i never had that issue so i am unsure. Also if you would like to turn off the vibrating feature, it is in the same loactaion. Start-Setting-Button-Vitural key

After a hardreset I am running into the same problem. After letting the phone idle for more than a few seconds it auto locks..........even durring the initial setup phase when I was setting the time!

It is odd, some times it will actually lock it. Other times it just says it is locked in the lower left hand cornor but it is not.........

1.09 if that's what it will be called, has some of the blackstone apps, and will be released when we're comfortable. I'm mainly working on manila folders while kyle is updating the blackstone, but that's enough thread jacking for me.

I added them in there, I used dogguy kitchen, build a base rom using ppckitchen, and then used that for a base. Drivers are 1.09 xip is 20775, build 20974.

okay i might have found what is causing it, something with Gyrator 2. If I pull out the stylus it will lock for a second, but i can unlock it, but then when i place the stylus back in, then it is unlock. so something with gyrator and the stylus is what i am seeing to cause this issue, but i am able to unlock it, and it is not a big problem to me.

by default in gyrator the stylus causes the phone to lock. in gyrator go into events and delete the 2 stylus events and youll be good to go

i am not 100% sure on that, i would say all you can do is try, and if it does not work, then you can always flash back to the rom you are at now.

if demand is high enough, i can try and make a generic rom i guess.

I flashed this rom and installed dcd's cabs. everything seems to be working. I don't exactly know what a carrier cab does...

But i don't have any vibration when I press on the tf3d tabs?
I only get vibration on actual keys (talk, end, power etc)

yeah the vibration will work on the actual keys, sorry if that was confusing. Do you have data working with dcd cab.

Yeah data works, and i can't believe how fast Opera has become.. i haven't been using opera mobile for along time due to it's lack of speed.

So far,

- Finger scrolling is the smoothest ever. Period. I tried every other rom and this is the only rom with acceptable results. (Scrolling in Youtube, and RSS hub w/out using the vertical bar) I guess that's the result of Updated HTC Gestures

- Flash support isn't working too well. I can start to view video on youtube.com but it'll freeze opera.

- When you goto Settings - System - TouchFLO, there's an option that says "Vibrate the device when tapping the tabs of TouchFLO, YouTube and Opera"
I guess this hasn't been fully implemented yet? I get no results

- I know the rom installation is a single .exe file but it'll be good if you can also include extracted files so we can edit the pagepool.

Overall very snappy. Looks like i'll be keeping this for a bit. Thanks

glad you like it, Flash, I will work on that, i am sure it is due to the newer opera, i can always go back to 2392.

Touchflo, it is not working 100% i am working on that, will see what i can get figured out.

Pagepool, if you open the .exe file with WinRar you will be able to take out the file called Ruu_signed.nbh and then you can change the pagepool that way. but just use WinRar to extract the file out.

So, I decided to play with your ROM today. I love the Alltel theme and Manila colors. It seems really fast and snappy.

I am on Telus, but just installed your ROM and it worked great right away. I haven't even installed the carrier cab yet.

The vibration on the buttons made me nuts until I figured out how to turn it off.

Conflipper, don't use the TouchFlo app from the blackstone as that is what causes the ezinput bug and maybe other issues

What did you change in gyrator events.ini btw?
For version 10.14 of gyrator2 for MSR2.1.1 rom I fixed the device getting stuck in landscape mode when a phone call or the user goes to the home screen without rotating back to portrait.
The following events.ini forces portrait mode automatically.

i got rid of the stylus in, stylus out, that was causing it to lock up, i just deleate them. I will take a look at your though, thanks for the share.

working on the facebook issue now, i am going to try and port over a new sys base and everything else. I am doing everything i can to get this working, so lets just hope and pray that it works. lol

Cool, the gyrator MM was using was a a older 10.14 build of gyrator which that events.ini was built for. The newest version 10.20 (the one your probably using right now) changed the format of events.ini.
