Yeah, I joined the WM world, loving the Diamond right now. I'm still on SU, though it's getting boring and bland.

Before I flash to 3.2 can someone confirm that TF3D can still be launched automatically via the usual today startup? Phonealarm allowed for a manual startup for TF3D and in doing so it caused all kinds of problems most notably breaking AVRCP commands. I had to switch to Second Today in order to use both Phonealarm and TF3D together and still be able to use AVRCP.

Ok, since I'm a newb I have to clarify. Will telus bill me for tethering? I want to tether to my laptop so I need to know if I can just go ahead and use it or if it's safer to use PDAnet?

Re: *UPDATED* [11-10-08] Juicy ROM 3.2 [SYS OS 5.2.19972 Build 19972.3.2] [UC]
Just wanted to use my first post here at PPCgeeks to say great job with the roms juicy and everyone else who helped (sorry kinda new so I didnt want to mess up by trying to name all who had a hand in this great work). Way better than stock Sprint stuff.
I did have a question on how everyone is getting their old data back onto their Diamond. I am using SPBbackup, but some of the options are a bit confusing. Restoring the sys data does that fix all the program links or do I have to manually reinstall the programs each time I flash the rom? Anyone else recommend a quicker way to get the phone back to the way you had it or like it after each Rom flash. Or is everyone just doing it the old fashioned way (which I have no problem with) by manually reinstalling programs etc? I could use a recommendation if someone knows a speedy way to do it considering I plan to update to newer juicy roms in the future. hmm ok ok second post |
