Good news is: BT works with this ROM.
Bad news is: Nothing I do will get my Contacts to sync.

Why, oh why am I always at work on ROM realease night. Ahh for F**k sakes, now I have five more hours of thinking about it. Then the wife is goona be yelling in my ear for playing on the computer as soon as I get home from work.

update on the autobacklight it does not work no matter what.. seems to just stay steady at 1 brightness ect I liked the fades in and out of bright and dark

If that's the only issue, might I suggest using a backup program (Spb/PIM Backup) for all you backup needs. Atleast until the issue is resolved. I only ever use Active Sync to unlock/relock my Diamond

Have you tried a soft/hard reset

So far the bugs that I'm reading about, I think that I can live with, have you tried a hard reset. If not give it a try and let us know what happend

Tried a hard reset.
Then I found out it was active/sync f'ing up.
Rebooted the PC and we seem to have syncage.

I do use Sprite backup, but I don't have a backup of a ROM that works.
I guess it would make sense to do a backup of just contacts/calender, eh?

I personally found that 19972 had a memory leak. Could've been the sys I was using, but like i said before. I would be at 50% memory usage with nothing opened. I find with 20759 navigating through the sub menus are very fast.

Granted by you increasing your cache and stuff will definitely take up more memory on boot 38-40% on boot, 20759 is still as fast without those tweaks, so think of how fast it CAN be when applying them

19972 was awesome, i wish i didn't have to switch... At times i get tempted to hop back to 19965 lol! *mike thinks....*

It was the xip not the sys. The newer 19972 xip has a locked pagepool of 12 megs
