It starts working after approx 5 minutes. Reboot your phone and then when it boots back up, try using the power button to turn off the display.

so how exactly can i get the radio to work? I plug in the headphones n just hear static for a second, then nothing at all

Re: (Updated Fixed SYS) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

i noticed the reception is real touchy as to how the earphone cable is. stretch it out, tune to a local station that you generally have good reception on and you should get audio.

some have said they have had to hit the headphone/speaker button

Re: (Updated Fixed SYS) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

press on the headphones, then it should work.

When trying to use the newest kitchen, I keep getting an error saying "the file \temp\dump\1bbfdc9b_manilla already exists"

I have base manilla plus sprint selected.

Do you have any of the clocks selected? The sprint and neon manilas both have conflicts if you're using them with any of the flip clocks.

Ah, yeah I do. Ill just flash it without a flip clock then install it later. Thanks.

You have to pick one of the digital clocks or else touchflo won't start. I had this problem too.

Forgot to add with the neon manila and maybe the sprint you get a weird white box over where it would say sprint.

Using different combinations in the latest kitchen, the .nbh file generated crashes RUU (or atleast, I assume that's the case).

Running Vista 32-bit.

Try restarting your pc

Ahadiel 11-05-2008 09:34 PM

Re: (Updated Fixed SYS) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

Did that, and also tried it on a different computer (also running Vista). The previous kitchen, including RUU, worked flawlessly.

Calcu I think this rom has serious issue. Screen won't turn off sometimes. Ocasionally will start flickering and also is using up the batter like crazy.

How do I edit the Home tab of Manilla so that the soft keys say Phone and Calender instead of opera mobile and file explorer

In the registry go to

HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila Youll see the keys there.

Calcu or TC;

I have a question....I am a tad new at ROM building, but I was able to compile a cab file with my email settings and whatnot.
I want this cab file to load with the "extras for sprint" cabs. How can I do this?

Hi,

I'm trying to load any of those 20924 ROMs in my European Diamond and it doesn't boot. I've tried to copy SYS to my kitchen and Diamodn doesn´t boot. I've decompliled a .nbh, copy SYS and OEM to my kitchen and Diamond doesn´t boot.

I think problem is becasue I use GSM and your ROMs are CDMA but I'm not sure. I can install a CDMA SPL becasue of bricked device. Can anyone help me?. Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,

El Parra

And yes, the problem is that this kitchen release was not meant for a GSM Diamond, so it will not work without modding

Hey Calcu how come you switched to old big ugly start icon in this newest release.

Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

Hi Calcu,

I've been looking in XDA but I din'd find any solution. All 20924 ROMs are locked and I can't extract the packets. I think they are loosing what sharing means :-( . For example, when I found the problem with SDAutoRun in Diamonds and I modified the .exe using an Hex editor, I kickly contacted to the creator of the application to ask him if he allow me to share this new version. As soon as Sleuth255 allowed me, I posted it in a lot of pages. Well, if someone want to create a SC capable ROM on Diamond without modify registry, please, look up this post:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=222

In any case, please, can you help me to port 20924 to GSM devices?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm sorry for my English, It's not my mother language :-)

I think it was the touch.dll from the blackstone that was causing the problem

When I updated the base build to 20757, that file must of got overwritten, so I'm looking for it now to put it back

K Thanks Calcu.

The bug was that when the phone 1st boots up (and sometimes later on) the power button would not turn the screen on or off for a period of time.

Thanks

I honestly don't have this problem, but I'll keep trying.

As for the icon... I believe it was the shell mui that has it.

Does your Youtube work? Mine does... juicy 3's doesn't. I have no sound problems. My mail also work find, as far as I can tell.
