rapidshare keeps jumping from 0-200 0-200 every meg im trying to download the kitchen

yea I guess my dl is bombing too. says its finnishes but only downloaded like 15k

any mirrors yet rapid share is giving me an error eventhough I have not downloaded anything from their site. Rapid share sucks.

I've got Juicy's ROM, am i going to have to wait for him to update his ROM with the new SYS files or is there a way to update them manually?

I'm relatively tech savvy but the diamond is my first PPC (for a week) and when i get into kitchens and radios i get slightly confused.

I've done many searches and read plenty of threads both from XDA and here i just can't grasp the concept fully yet.

You can only update the SYS files before creating the ROM, so you'll have to wait till he's done testing the new OS,

creating a ROM in the kitchen isn't that difficult, it's getting all the tweaks and changes in that gets me. problem is i never really have enough time to sit down and wrap my head around it.

If it's a CDMA Diamond, then I don't see why not,

And for the rest, I'm putting up mirrors since Rapidshare is giving problems.

which are the diferentiate between cdma and gsm on the rom?

Agreed. If you don't do the majority of the tweak though, it kind of makes creating a rom useless, especially with UC working now.

buildos crashing after g'reloc process...tried launching buildos manually same thing...buildos.exe has stopped working.

Use build my rom, a dos windows will open up and then buildos with open, once your done checking off what you want, click the play button and once your build is done, close buildos and the dos window will finish building the rom, then it will take you to the pagepool changer, set your paging pool and then the flasher will pop up, flash your rom and your done,

As for the double startup, delete this key or put " around it, then use Diamond Tweak to remove the startup sound and the animation if you want,

only thing is you need the carrier cab for sprint to get this to work as an fyi to those that cant connect to data after installing. but other than that im impressed. this might be worth losing some of the sprint tabs.

Regarding the sprint tabs, the kitchen allows you to select the default sprint manila, so all tabs are present, including SprintTV, etc..
