Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
OK, first build w/ the new kitchen, OEM 1.08, and SYS 20921 using the same steps from Calcu and Juicy (20755 .ROM, .VM, GWES, Metadata, XIP, etc.)...
I selected Base Manila only, no carrier specific version, and after flashing, TouchFLo fails to launch. I'm going to cook another one with the Sprint manila selected this time and see what happens... if that fails i will try using the manila from Juicy's 2.6... brb |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
you need base + one of the others

Just FYI.. If I select base + ATT, i get the familiar "File already exists" error during BuildOS. Error, last status" "Processing: OEM\Manila-ATT" |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Very fast indeed.
|
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
yeah, it's the black flip clock. I'll get a few updates then fix them all at once.
|
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Juicy - Can you check to see if your Office Mobile apps work? None of mine will launch.
|
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
So far:
Moved the 1c8e4e38_manila from black flip clock to Alltel Manila Sensors.dll from Klaxon and Gyrator into Sensors SDK which is always installed. |

Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
when opening the camera i'm getting the "the file 'camera' cannot be opened. either it is not signed w/a trusted certificate, or one of it's components cannot be found" error.
i'll give 1.08 a go tomorrow |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
I just noticed this but I haven't looked for a solution yet and I also noticed the calculator is missing too,
EDIT: Camera works now with OEM 1.08 but there is still no calculator, |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Ya, camera works with OEM 1.08, but Office Mobile doesn't.
On a positive note, switching from landscape to portriat in Opera is lighting fast. Very very responsive and accurate. |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Ill get it working
|
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

|
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

|
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond

Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Well I finally got that build of 22222 to run after swapping language files and such but it suffers from the same landscape to portrait freezing issue as 20755 did, so I will be sticking with 20921 for now,

Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
I did install the sys20921 using GFTC Kitchen 2.01 and pushed it to my diamond, then it froze on reboot, at the stage where I can see my radio version number etc.
Is there a way out of this mess? what could have cause this? |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
yeah i'm having that issue w/1.08 and the 2.01 kitchen too... i think it's related to the files that need to be used from the 20755sys
try using the link/kitchen calcu posted, it's working well for me |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
I meant: I cannot boot anymore, completely frozen. I tried hard reset but it just keeps going back to that screen

To get back to where you were before... you need to boot into bootloader mode and reflash a working ROM. To get into bootloader, do this... Power Button + Volume Down + Reset Good luck bro. |
Re: SYS 20921 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
