I forgot to say... after hours the links finally worked for me... Thanks... Also, I tried flashing but my Vista 64 gives me an error when starting the RUU, even after a new cooking and restarting the machine... Were there any changes? |
Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Manila files have no extension, and are not jpeg. You need manila editor.

has links to all programs you need to edit these files. The clock files are in the clock folders, edit the ones that are qtc (use hex editor/notepad or point to directory in manila editor to find out if they are qtc images). Compressonator is used for better conversion than manila editor (manila editor used for quick previews). |
Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Calcu,
Just want to say this latest rom works great. I haven't noticed any problems. Thanks for your hard work. The only strange thing I noticed is that when the phone boots up from being off, the home screen flashes for a second right before the WM6.1 splash screen. I don't know how or why this happens but it doesn't affect anything and I don't really care. Just something strange I noticed. |

I flashed to the ATT Manilla last night on my Sprint Diamond, and everything looked great, except the text was white in the messages area, making it very very hard to read.
I re-flashed 2 times and a friend also had this problem. Anyone else notice it? Any way to change the color of the text??? |

Insteresting thing is that things started to disappear (clocks , banners, etc) as I was flashing them... The pictures with complete screens were the first and downgrading as I was flashing the others... Today I flashed again to my preferences and all is beautiful again! |

I have to say so far using this rom for about a day and it seems to be close to a perfect rom. I have not found any issues yet.

Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
1 Attachment(s)
haven't tried it, last time i cooked it into my ROM it wouldn't open. that was v2.6 though i think...
it DID load when i was running the nueROM... *edit* Added the OEM i pulled from the nueROM, haven't had a chance to cook/test it though. - Business Card Reader WWE spoke too soon, it's giving me "480x536e.bmp" already exists error... i'll do some more testing when things slow down around here |

Love the rom.
The one problem Im having is with opera. How do I change the default zoom in level to zoom in all the way when I double tap instead of only half way? |
Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
While we're on the subject of Opera. Is anyone else having a problem where their download page doesn't come up in the newest version 27 something.

Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
Noob question - I want to use the kitchen on the 1st post (Calkulin's). I have a custom 2330fc3c_manilla file modified by the Weather Database Editor with my additional cities. I thought it would be as simple as replacing the same file in one of the Manilla subdirectories within OEM folder. However, I've looked everywhere from the kitchen directory down into all the subdirectories and do not see any instances of the 2330fc3c_manilla file to replace. So, how would I get my custom weather database into my ROM?
Thanks, Bill |

Anyone got Sprint Music Store working? When I click the link it doesn't go to the store, it just puts in my information.

The 2330fc3c is located in Manila Base folder for that kitchen oem if you need to modify it. |

if you are making your own roms then adjust the minimum and maximum zoom to 160 and 200 respectively in the opera.ini file (under adaptive zoom header inside the file) and it will give the double tap zoom to 160. It is the original settings of the older opera and I've tested other values and it's the best you can do. If you want to change it in the phone, then you change the opera.ini that is located in \windows\opera9 folder. Also, The minimum overview zoom setting is the view you see when a page is first loaded and the effect of this zoom is (I think, didn't really test it much) dependent on the virtual screen width and the resolution of the page you are on. |
Re: (Update v2.7.1) 20924 is the fastest I've seen yet on a Diamond
so guys.... i did a full sys compare with 20757 and 20924.... and 20924 is older in every way then 20757... which means its a fake sys build.... just thought id throw that out there.
