This is the procedure that worked for me and several others

1) dial ##778, enter in 000000 for the password
2) copy the ESN(Hex) Exactly how it is(you need the caps)
3) click View Info in the lower left corner and click M.IP Settings
4) Change MIP_MODE to Simple IP Only
5) Click View Info again and goto Security
6a) HDR AN AUTH User Id = 5555555555@alltel.net (fill the 5's with your 10-digit number)
6b) HDR AN AUTH Password = (Your ESN(Hex) With CAPS)
6c) PPP USER ID = 5555555555@alltel.net (Same as above)
6d) PPP PASSWORD = alltel
7) Click OK in the top right corner and save and reboot.
Goto Start->Settings->Connections->Connections
9) Click Manage existing connections
10) Select Alltel Wireless and click Edit...
11) Click Next in the lower right cornder until you get to the user name and password screen
12a) Username is 5555555555@alltel.net (Same as above)

Re: Flash Touch Diamond from Sprint to Alltel

ok for that i used BAF Msl grabber http://www.baf.cc/bafmsl but to get it to work you will have to update your .net framework on the phone to 3.5 from microsoft. it takes a while but once you update .net framework it will work like a charm.

I still need to find where to get an Alltel radio update!!!

Re: Flash Touch Diamond from Sprint to Alltel

Any one know how to fix picture messaging? Looks like I got everything else to work! I also learned that if you do a bad flash pressing the down button along with the power and doing a soft rest will get you back to a screen to put another ROM. I wouldnt suggest trying it unless you are stuck and cant boot!

yes this brings you back to the bootload screen. If your using the sd method you will have to be able to get to it in the first place.

As for the messaging error i would suggest reinstalling the rom. I have had rom updates that would either have a program that wouldn't work or would randomly shut off the phone and to get them to work correctly all i had to was to reinstall the rom update.

I know this is the wrong forum but does anyone know where i can find alltel radio updates for the touch pro...thanks.

Talking Re: Flash Touch Diamond from Sprint to Alltel

Fixed my picture messaging by doing the following!

Try changing the Alltel MMSC setting's to match what's below:
-Server Name: Leave that the same
-Gateway: Delete this, leaving it blank
-Port number: 8080
-Server address: http://mms-mt.alltel.net/servlets/mms
-Connect via: Alltel Wireless
-WAP: WAP 2.0
