Just weird then!

Well, I did get the file and flashed the radio. No change in signal so far, but I do notice an increase in battery heat. Its been a long time since I've had the stock Sprint radio so I really can't remember how the battery temp differs. I'll give it a few days to compare it to the Telus radio.

Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I flashed, coming from the Telus radio, and initial results were same as Telus.
I had same bars as Telus, and didn't notice the heat issues while on a call. One thing that was pleasantly surprising, is that my audio streaming is now very smooth at my house, where I could barely stream with the Telus radio as I am on the evdo fringe. Other than that, I am not seeing much difference between the Sprint radio and the Telus.

Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

Just flashed the new Sprint radio. Seems to be pretty similar to the last Telus radio, but I am perhaps getting a little bit better in-call quality. EVDO speeds about the same.

Thanks for the new radio.

I flashed about an hour ago. No difference in signal or data speeds so far. I streamed a video for about an hour over hulu and my phone does seem to get a bit hotter. Similar to the VZW radio so far. Will test battery life for the next few days.

Also I've noticed my phone has yet to pop on for no reason. Maybe this bug is in the radio software?

Sometimes that happens when you change cell towers.

The amount of difference between Radio's is frequently not extremely noticeable, FYI for all those who think they are going all of sudden get signals in bad areas.
