Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I just got home from the Sprint store. TEP kicked in and my third Touch was replaced by a Diamond. I am hoping this phone will be a bit more reliable.

I see a thread over at XDA:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432770

Lots of radio's in the 1.08 & 1.09 listed for Diamonds and Raphael's but are these radios for GSM devices as opposed to CDMA? They are all listed as quad band, and I really don't know what that means.

Best regards,
-boggsie

Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

My girlfriend has a stock ROM USA Sprint Diamond Touch Pro. I’m attempting to update her radio to the Telus Radio V1.04.05V. I’ve installed SPL-0.37.CMONEX and verified that it was successful (i.e. SPL-0.37.CMONEX displays on the bootloader screen). When I run the RUU for the radio, I’m getting the error:

ERROR[244]:INVALID MODEL ID

Should this radio be compatible with her phone? If so, any ideas on what the error is coming from?

anybody else get data time out issues with the telus radio?.. recently i had a delayed answer problem when data was on where i could not answer the phone.. after reading another thread.. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=40427 ..where i needed to edit the registry a little.. the problem was solved but data does not disconnect after a long idle.. arrows stay grey.. i switched from the verizon rom to the telus before i fixed the issue so i dont know if the timeout issue is related to the telus radio or somethin still needing to be fixed with registry edits

I agree, same here, way faster, and no hard reset, no backups, information lost, everything went without a glitch

I had problem with data connection all the time when using Telus new radio. I went back to Sprint Raphael Radio V1.03.15F and data work perfect all the time.

Firstly, there is no such thing as a Diamond Pro. You have a Touch Diamond, or a Touch Pro, not both in one.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure you have the Touch Pro.

Thirdly, no, this is not for your phone.

Thanks, you're right, it's the Sprint Touch Pro (i.e slide-out keyboard). So, do any of the radio's in this thread apply? Is there a more appropriate radio thread for this phone? Her home is in a fringe area and we're hoping to find a radio that can help?

Exclamation Re: [DEC 5th New Telus Radio V1.04.05V] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

Sprint Raphael Radio V1.03.15F Shipped
<---- This is the Official Released to public Shipped SPrint Touch Pro Radio. Im currently using it on my diamond. I have also been informed that this is the same version as the Alltel Stock diamond radio rom

Hi, this link isn't working for me, is there any alternative download sites?
Flashed to the Telus, but it's not working for us, random reception bar changes and cutting out on calls where it didn't on the stock radio.

Looking forward to trying this one out.

Thanks
