Re: [UPDATED OCT 31st New Radio] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread

Ya. I wish there was a telus radio as I would flash back to it. The VZW radio caused my phone to blank and vibrate at random and I would have to soft reset it. I am currently using the sprint 1.00.00f radio.

I have not tried the newer sprint one. I did not see the point since no one has really tested it. I get nervous when flashing radio roms.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as impatient or ungrateful. Thanks for all your hard work and time you and others have invested in these projects.

I started getting the vibration problem recently and for me it's not random. My phone will work just fine until a drive to an out of the way area where I am roaming and then the vibration kicks in.

Re: [UPDATED OCT 31st New Radio] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Rom Thread

ok.. pretty sure I did not do something right....I had juicy 2.6 loaded for my sprint diamond. I flashed the Verizon radio only and I was under the impression the OS would not change... but my theme looks different.. am I missing something?

my process...
Downloaded radio found in 1st post... Backed up.. unzipped.. ran RUU from zip file. thats how its done yes? I feel stupid for asking that but all my contacts and everything are not there. hmmm.

When you flash with that radio, it resets your phone. Its like installing a new rom.

ok well i thought i read something that said there was no os change.. i guess i figured that applied to themes and programs and the such. no biggie. I needed to upgrade to juicy's 3.0 anyway. so it does look like i gained a bar... sitting at my desk i almost always have 1 bar... 1 bar or none... 10 minutes after the flash i fumble between 1 and 2. the real test for me is the battery drain with my new radio. will post results... lol
