Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I tried the 1.11 for a few days, got too warm for me. Seemed to bounce between 2 and 3 bars consistently, so now I'm on the 1.04. I hadn't tried it before, but after a day or so I feel confident with it. Always have full bars, data seems as quick as any other, but I usually use OperaMini so YMMV. It doesn't feel as warm as the Sprint radios either. Voice quality appears a little better as well. This has been my experience so far, in SW Portland, OR area if that helps anyone.

YES...

You can use any of the radio's posted in post 1 of this thread.

At one point or another, I have tried each one.

I am currently in the newest Sprint Radio, 1.11.00F

Well, take it away from home and see how it handles...."signal bars" are not always very accurate...I would say, as long as it didn't swap between 1x / ev a lot, and you get your calls, see how it works.

the battery drain seems to be the swapping back and forth, and trying to locate a signal....

I would say try it for a day, and then let us know.

Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

I'm at the v1.11.00F radio and I am seeing something weird. When the phone is just in standby, the signal is about 2 bars and down, but when using something like Sprint TV its stable at 4 bars. I have no EVDO in my city, so its using standard 1X rate. Are there two different signals being displayed here?
