They need to be ported with correct device ID.

So the Verizon Rom helps the Sprint Diamond heat issues? If so is there anything different you have to do to flash it? Or should I try and have my diamond swapped out to see if that fixes the issue? thanks

I flashed my stock Sprint Diamond to the Telus radio rom 1.04.05V and all my heat issues are gone. Battery life is also greatly improved, almost doubled. Currently I'm sticking to the Stock Sprint rom with Telus radio rom.

After several days with the TP radio, I've flashed back to the Telus radio. I have significantly better reception and longer battery life. I'll likely stay with Telus.

A bit less heat with the VZW and Telus Radios for me. But not a huge improvement. Still gets hot to the touch during heavy usage.

So any final decisions on which radio to stick with.
Signal
Battery, etc.
Haven't seen too many Verizon vs. Touch Raphael Radio comparisons?
Thanks.

Honestly I have tried them all for a certain amount of time. I think the raphael, verizon, and telus are all slight improvements over the stock sprint diamond radio rom. its very hard to definitively give you a proper comparision without flashing each radio rom and using it for an extended period of time giving you time to properly analyze the battery and signal performance. I personally have stuck with the telus radio for sometime now because it seems to keep the device slightly less warm (depending on the rom your are using) and the signal is good. No lockups either with gps which has been reported on the verizon radio.

I've been pretty busy for the holidays so I stuck with the VZW radio. I have a pretty good idea of the difference between the VZW and stock sprint rom now. I'll probably give the Telus radio a whirl again next week when work/school resume. It's much easier to compare when I'm in the same places and using it consistently every day. TP radio after that...
