Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread
I went back to the Telus radio after trying the Sprint one for about a week. I thought the Sprint radio might solve my problem of the phone randomly locking up if Flexmail was left on overnight, but it didn't. Also, battery usage increased significantly with Sprint. On the Telus radio, the phone would settle in around 57mA while idle. With the Sprint radio, it never seemed to drop down below 150mA or so. Worst of all, the Sprint radio would drop calls like crazy.
I'm on Bell in the Hamilton/Toronto area. |

Any news on the new Telus rom being released here, soon? New one being Telus 1.07.01 obviously.

Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread
So how do I know the update worked?
I see in the original post it states: "Warrning: After flashing a radio it will preform a RTN, this is a hard reset that the radio initiates. BACK UP ALL YOUR DATA BEFORE FLASHING A RADIO ROM." But after it updated, the phone didn't perform a hard reset. Also when I check the version with RomUpdateUtility.exe it still reports the same version as before hand: 1.06.661.1. This is on the Sprint Diamond and I'm trying to update with the Telus radio. |
