[Oct 30] JUICY ROM 2.7 [CE OS 5.2.19965 Build 22222]

I've got a quick question about the battery icon. Is Juicy's ROM (I'm on 2.6, which is superb, BTW) supposed to include that much desired, fancy, oh so sweet, green icon with the percentage above it? I was under the impression that it is supposed to be there (likely because of the screenshots from Juicy's post for ver. 2.4.1), but I've got the very boring, generic icon that I loath.

When I was on 2.4.1 and then 2.5, I never had the green icon either... I attempted installing it myself with no luck while I was on 2.5. I seemingly tried every trick in the forums (here and XDA). Any ideas/suggestions that could/should work for 2.6?

It was removed from his roms because it was not considered accurate.

Thanks for confirming that it's not part of the ROM, aceracer. I must have missed that bit of info if/when it was ever posted.

As a sidenote, there really is a lot of fluff in this thread to weed through.

Yup, so is Google. But like I already said, it kinda feels like I tried everything (CABs, manually, etc...). Been using Juicy's ROMs since ver. 2.4.1 and haven't really asked a single question till now, so I thought I was entitled to one dumb one, lol.

I figured asking the fine folks of the forums for some advice couldn't hurt.

I can not find it?

I know your question was already answered, but in the event that you want the battery icons anyway just install the two attached cabs onto the main memory and soft reset.

I can confirm that they work ... although I can't speak to the accuracy of the meter as mentioned previously.

To the best of my knowledge, Juicy has never listed Gyrator as part of his rom. However, I know Mighty's rom does include it.

I'm sure it's been asked but I haven't seen it answered; with the launch of the Alltel Diamond today will there be an Alltel version of 2.7?
