Just to piggy back on what others have posted on this page, if you use the "search this thread" tool at the top of the page and then search for "Alltel", you'll find your answer. Long story short, no current 2.7 for Alltel planned, but others had no problems using the Telus ROM prior to a Sprint version being made. So, it should be fine for you to do the same for now. Juicy has been extremely accommodating though so... you never know unless he says so himself.

alltel rom will be easy as it contains no epst radio mods.

you could use the telus or sprint rom in theory. but he may be an alltel rom

Just really like to keep the Alltel branding etc. I think Con is working on a 'stock' Alltel rom anyhow so that should be fine for me.

Wanted to resurrect this question to see if anyone had any further ideas on how to do this. I know Juggalo said it may be possible using a manila edit ... any ideas/solutions to this would be appreciated.

that is why 2.5 is still on,and it is very stable ,it is just that i feel that rushing him is not a good idea , i d rather give him his time and space than asking for an ETA ,also due to the fact that most of the updates are software releases from different phones around the globe"literally" it takes some time to iron out the compatibility issues "most of phones out there are GSM /ours CDMA" and making sure all of our services are connected right along with the drivers working is a heck of a job,i mean man it is like so many versions from the same drivers/programs and new ones come out everyday.

BTW i am not trying to flame you in any way,i can't wait for it either ,but for now unless i have a constructive suggestion that i can add to the pool of ideas here i ll just wait

2.5 with the Verizon radio is freaking wonderful.
