do you know where I would look? I just reflashed latest ROM and set up exchange and it still seems sporatic. Could it be something that Juicy did in his ROM settings?

Does anyone else use push as mail arrives??

Um...this is pretty much what you do in the kitchen....except you check the boxes. Have you ever actually used the kitchen? I think you would be quite surprised with how easy it is.

No, I haven't. I managed to cause some irreversible problems to my old RAZR by hacking, and so I'm afraid of what I might do left to my own devices. I guess I could play around and if it doesn't feel comfortable, then I could just not flash it.

Re: * UPDATED * [10/12/2008] JUICY ROM 2.5 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

My "number of rings" woes continue.

I followed the instructions to set the tower polling in the ##778# menu which Cornelius kindly provided, but it did not extend my number of rings before my voicemail picks up.

I have followed the Advance Config thread over on XDA and removed my Advance Config settings and ran the #777 cab file that Juggalo provided.

I set the ring delay to "no delay" in Diamond Tweak.

I rolled back to WM basic dialer.

Still getting only like less than 10 seconds worth of rings before my voicemail picks up. Missing calls pretty frequently.

Anyone else having these issues? I don't recall having these problems with earlier version of the rom.

Any help is most appreciate. Thanks.

ya. Ive been noticing that lately too. I dont know if it has to do with Juicys rom or not but Ive been asking people that call me how many times it rang on their end before I answered and usually they say 3-4 and it only rang once for me.

Yeah... I saw some improvement switching back to the WM dialer, but only in that my ringtone starts as soon as the incoming call registers, and I really hate the default dialer. People tell me my phone is also not ringing long on their end now and I am having to call everyone back due to missing their call.

I noticed the same ring issue last night. I also noticed it outgoing. I was with a friend who needed to rebuild his contact list - so I called his cell to make it easier to type in the number. My phone said connected and his had not even started ringing yet! This is on a Sprint phone. Got to be something going on here.

There's an option in DiamondTweak 'option 1.7' ring time- maybe try installing that and make sure that is set to 'without delay?'
