Re: JUICY ROM 2.6 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

Okay Juicy, I think I figured out the conflict. I reflashed back to 2.5. Tested bluetooth and it seems to work okay. The first app I loaded was the StayUnlock by Zenyee (my hosting provider customer support is stupid and I can't talk to the exchange support team).

Bluetooth still seems to be fine.

I load A_C's Slide2Unlock2 and now it seems to dump the bluetooth. Oddly enough if I catch it when it happens, and go into the comm manager, bluetooth shows as being on, but the icon is gone at the top. If I exit and go back in, it's now off.

I uninstalled S2U2 and turned bluetooth back on - now it stays connected.

So something between your rom, A_C's software, and my speakerphone (hands free profile in WM), causes the bluetooth stack to crash (so it seems). It works on the stock rom.

I love your rom and look forward to 2.6. I'll have to post to A_C to find out his thoughts on it. It seems weird that his software was tie into this...

This rom is for the Diamond, not the Touch.

Re: JUICY ROM 2.6 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

Juicy - sorry for jumping the gun here. I started searching the web and found out the A_C has already mentioned something along these lines. I still find it interesting that it happens in your rom and not the stock, but hey, as long as it works:

From A_C's readme:
Q. Some of my device's background jobs (like email sync or bluetooth connection) stopped unexpectedly when S2U2 is running?
A. Try to enable NoPowerSuspend.

hey juicy, can you tell us what was wrong with active sync in 2.5 and what you did to fix it in 2.6? Is it a reg edit?

Interested to see if the backlight driver will fix the backlight auto-sensor power drain issues.
My problem too, but it's because something or the other ends up not working, lol.

2.5 was good except it had the activesync and other fun issues that I think I listed other than inet speed being slow. I hope 2.6 does something about these issues and I can call it a day.

Thanks Juicy.

Re: JUICY ROM 2.6 [Full CE OS 5.2.20755][TELUS][Sprint]

Love this ROM! Can't wait for 2.6.

Has anyone else noticed that the registry setting DisableSMSWakeUpEvent does not seem to make a difference when using 2.5? I don't use a locking program, so I've tried to set this key to 1 to prevent pocket dialing after I get a text. But, no matter what I try, the screen always wakes on an incoming text. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
